I have always been a revolutionary socialist and borderline Marxist, so needless to say, when I heard one of our guys (Barack Hussein Obama) would be running for president, I jumped with glee. I thought he wouldn't have a chance in hell of being elected, as I always viewed elections in capitalist America to be rigged by the evil rich white Christian Republican teabaggers.

What made Obama's election in a rigged capitalist imperialist hellhole like America possible? I ran this question through my mind countless times, and I have come to the same conclusion that most other people have; white guilt. White guilt played the greatest role in Obama's election, that and selling the message of socialism. Yes, the people heard "hope and change" and they voted for it, they voted for a democratic socialist.

Now I used to hold democratic socialists with contempt, being a revvy myself, but Obama has changed my view in that respect. Perhaps the best way to instate a socialist workers' utopia is not through a revolution, but from working within the system, as Obama and the Democrat Party is doing. It seems to have worked for Europe, where capitalism is just another chapter in the history books. Obama has inspired me to be abandon my militant tendencies in favor of democratic socialist reforms.

Obama's first term was marked with so much gushy socialist goodness that I cannot wait to until November to spread my thick, warm, creamy lovesauce all over the ballot, as I vote for our great leader, Comrade Hussein. I really want to donate to Comrade Hussein's campaign, but I refuse to get a job (thus supporting the evil capitalist system), and sadly his campaign does not accept food stamps (believe me, I tried).

I cannot wait to see the day Obama is elected to his second term, with many more to come once we abolish term limits. Obama and his loyal OcCuPy army (myself included) will bring a new golden age to America and the world and the streets will run red with Christian blood. Obama will personally rip out and eat the still-beating heart of Rush Limbaugh, and the working class shall reign supreme. To take a note from history's great socialists, like Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler, we shall take away the guns of the right-wingers and ban Bibles throughout the newfound United Socialist States of America, and all women shall be required to get abortions. The day of reckoning is coming, you right-wing capitalist pigs! Be afraid, be very afraid!

In this day and age, and considering the trend of the last 30 years, I'm voting against 2 term presidents. 4 years then goodbye.

Yep, and after considering the 2 piles of shit in front of me and the last 30 years, that is all that is left. Although, I'm still not sure, unlike yourself I try to consider everything and not make rash decisions, but, in all honesty I feel they are all heading us in the same direction, just different routes. Only thing left for me is to try and limit each of their terms. Got a problem with critical thinking and being flexible Roid, or just trying to point out my hypocrisy?

All political tribalists are ignorant hypocrites. All crimes against humanity are okay as long as it's their tribe doing it.

Mission accomplished. I earned a communication badge.

Heh, good enough Smile. I've really been going back and forth and even still I don't have a clear path. I don't like Obama, I don't like Romney. There actually is no candidate that I think isn't dangerous for this country. I'm not sure which one is more dangerous. Obama, who is slowly eroding away from the inside, or Romney, who damn sure likely to start a war with China. My best guess is just term limits outside of outright revolt, which is not gonna happen anytime soon. I still have a good idea to just vote Ron Paul, even if I have to scribble his name in, but I'm not sure that would accomplish anything. The only reason I would vote Romney is for term limits and after Benghazi, there is no way I could vote Obama. I still don't know yet.

I am so disgusted by the process that I see going on with Republicans, that there's no way I could vote Romney (*looks over shoulder from the engine room to make sure no Democrats try to jump on-board*), no matter how much better than Obama some might say he is. I will not be involved with that level of self-deception. It's no good going at it from a sports perspective. These men should be weighed in the balance, and being both fount wanting by anyone with a clear picture of what's happening in the U.S., should be rejected outright, on their own merits. If people had done this from the very start of the race, I believe we would be in a better position.

The whole situation is ludicrous. The scare-mongering going on in the Republican camp is overt to the point of ridiculous, and has been for the last FIVE years. I constantly find myself in the position of defending Obama, who I think is no great shakes, from ridiculous accusations, in the name of truth.

I'm no great fan of the Republican side either. Honestly, I'd like to rip the Democratic party in half and keep the "human rights", personal liberty and freedom side while discarding the retarded red tape, regulations and entitlements, and rip the Republican party in half, keeping the "second amendment, and fiscally conservative small government" half and discarding the entire religious right, abusive deregulation and tax cuts for people who don't need them. Then we could glue them together into something which might actually be useful.

I did a little historical research, I found it very enlightening to look at the tax rates during the "golden age" we experienced following WWII. I'm not saying that we need to raise taxes but golly prosperity is definitely possible, whatever the tax rate.

Mitt Romney is eligible but underqualified.

Duality is an illusion.
